Hey, I'm Gareth Sharp, a 45-year-old dad who's been obsessed with electronic music for nearly three decades.It all started in the mid-90s when I discovered FastTracker 2 on the computer – those pixelated trackers and sample-chopping sessions were pure magic and hooked me for life. From there, I progressed through Acid Pro, Fruity Loops (before it became FL Studio), Reason, and Cubase, constantly experimenting and evolving my sound.These days, I mostly live in PreSonus Studio One Pro, paired with the incredible Native Instruments suite (Maschine is a constant companion), and my beloved Arturia MiniFreak for those hands-on, inspiring moments.Back in the early 2000s, I was out at every major UK rave – Summer Sound System, Global Gathering, you name it – losing myself in the energy of the fields and warehouses. Then, in my early 20s, I moved to Holland and dove headfirst into the festival culture there. Those experiences opened my ears to everything from techno and psytrance to world beats and beyond, and showed me how vast and beautiful music can be.Now, as a father, music remains my ultimate outlet – my escape, my therapy, my way of processing life.
